Good Friday Service
Tenebrae is the Latin word meaning “shadows. A Tenebrae service is a solemn service which remembers what the Lord Jesus Christ did for us on the cross on that first Good Friday. Our service includes music, narration, the lighting and extinguishing of 7 candles and communion. The overall tone is one of reflection and worship. When the final candle is extinguished, the room will be in near darkness, signifying the story is not over until Easter morning. There will be no benediction and we will leave in silence.
