What to Expect
We know that visiting a church for the first time can be a little overwhelming, but we will do everything we can to make you feel at home when you visit. Shake hands and introduce yourself to our greeter at the front door who can guide you where you want to go. Fill out a visitor’s card in the church bulletin so we can get to know you. And we’d love for you to head to the fellowship hall following the worship services where we can chat with you over coffee and something tasty!
What should I wear?
Before visiting, you may be deciding what to wear. It’s always nice to feel like you fit in. Please, feel comfortable to come as you are. We want you to know we don’t place an emphasis on a certain style of dress. Some people prefer to dress up and some people prefer to dress casually. Either way, we will just be happy that you came.
Where should I park?
We have a parking lot next to our building on Kossman St. There is also parking available along the streets surrounding the church. Wheelchair accessible parking is available on the side of the church. We have a lift just inside our front doors for wheelchair accessibility to the entire church building.
What to expect at the Worship Service?
Our service begins at 11am and ends around 12:00-12:15pm. We sing a blend of contemporary songs and hymns. We also pray and are challenged by the reading and preaching of God’s Word. During the service, there will be a time that we take an offering. That is the time we set apart to give to the mission God has set before us as a church family. Don’t worry about giving, we are just glad you are joining us!
What about my kids?
The nursery is available for children up to 4 years old for the entire Worship Service. Children’s Church is available during the school year for children 4 years old-3rd grade. They are dismissed from the service to their downstairs class prior to the sermon. Children’s Church provides a safe environment where your children can learn about God, experience the love of Jesus and enjoy being with their peers.
What about Sunday School?
Our informal Sunday morning classes begin at 9:45 am and are great places to connect with others and hear more about God’s Word. We have a class available for elementary children, teens, and adults.
